Hello fellow anglers!

Summer is drawing to a close, and we hope you have all enjoyed the season.

We now look forward to a lovely autumn filled with great fishing moments.

Unfortunately, the beautiful summer weather, with very little rainfall, has resulted in very low water levels in Lake Tollerup.

The lack of rain has caused the lake's natural inflows to dry up completely, leading to a steadily dropping water level.

Naturally, this affects both the fish and the fishing conditions. Although the water temperature is slowly cooling, the low water level means oxygen levels in the lake remain low, consequently, we are not yet permitting Catch & Release.

This means that all salmonid fish, rainbow trout and brown trout, must not be released after being caught, instead, all caught fish must be kept.

Please note that perch must still be returned to the lake.

We have received some rain over the past few days, and according to the forecast, we will get some more in the near future and we hope this will benefit both the fish and the fishing.

As soon as the water level and temperature reach acceptable conditions, we will provide an update regarding Catch & Release.

A date for the Club Championship (KM) in fly fishing has not yet been set, precisely because we need the lake's water level to rise, we will get back to you with a date as soon as we see conditions improving.
